A section of Lower Creek Drive will be closed this Saturday morning and afternoon. Contractors are installing a water line connection to the new Kattz Corner apartments.
Lower Creek Drive NE between Eastover Circle NE and Tywood Street NW will be closed to through traffic starting at 7:00 am Saturday, March 12, 2022. Contractors hope to have the road back open by 2:00 pm in the afternoon, barring any unforeseen problems.
Only local traffic should access Lower Creek Drive NE from the west entrance on Wilkesboro Boulevard. All other drivers travelling on Lower Creek should take Tremont Drive NE. Detour signs will be set up to help drivers avoid the closing.
