Caldwell County Health Department, Public Library, and Emergency Services are working together to provide free N-95 masks to the community.
The free, state-supplied N-95 masks will be available at Caldwell County Public Library branches beginning Wednesday, February 2. Along with the masks, recipients will receive a handout detailing how to properly use the masks. Two masks will be given per person while supplies last.
“State guidance recommends people wear a well-fitting, high-quality mask with multiple layers: a surgical or procedure mask, a KN95, or an N95,” explained Caldwell County Public Health Director Anna Martin. “We hope making the N-95 masks available to our community will encourage everyone to wear a well-fitting, multi-layer mask.”
